  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

What a beautiful morning. The sun is shining, the grass is turning green, The jack ass has been sent to the glue factory. Immediate smile. I had a feeling this was going to be his last year, but to see it end so epically bad made it even sweeter.

Now the search begins. Im assuming they are going to want to get a coach who has the ability to attract free agents. If they had a brain, they'd consider that before trying to sign Lappy or Shaw.

Genuinely and pleasantly surprised they did this while the season was still going on. The writing was on the wall with the comments after the last game, but figured the boys club would do what they would be expected to do and let him step down after the season or announce he was retiring or some other bullshit. Good on Danny.

Nah, they'll come back when (or rather if!) they start winning again at some point.

I have tuned out for a while now, haven't watched a game in years. I still check the scores, the standings and this board.

If the FO ever arrives in the 2020s, and they have a decent shot to maybe win a playoff series or two, I'll be back and so will many others.
I agree with you. And we will have a chance to see if that’s true…. Many, many years from now.

Not to disparage Dr. Martin Luther King but..."Free at last, free at last".....

This will go one of 2 ways. The Flyers will either go 7-2 or 2-7; there is no in between. They have proven over the last several years to be a mentally weak group of players so hopefully 2-7. The next 4 games literally holds their future in the balance.....

so who's getting hired this offseason? David Carle??

Depends on who is available. Probably gonna be an established coach that would attract free agents....I don't know if Carle does that. He would be my pick.

What i foresee, is Mike Sullivan being fired from the Pens and then us hiring him or Tochett.

Who knows, maybe Brindamour wants out...if he wants out, He's on my list with Carle.
