According to the Vancouver Province , John Stevens is the leading candidate for the head coaching job in Vancouver.
Vancouver Province reports #LAKings John Stevens is frontrunner for #Canucks head coach, Eakins, Arniel & Gulutzan still in the running

GIven the success of the Kings and his role in that (D and PK) I guess this will happen someday. Wish it were in the East, not in the Kings conference.
Always liked him, felt the FLyers fired him too soon (Flyers act rashly-hard to believe!). He got the FLiyers to the ECF in his second year as a coach and they would have gone deeper the following year (2009) if Richards wasn't playing with two blown out shoulders. He's won an AHL championsihp as the head coach and the Stanley Cup as an assistant. Smart guy, players like him.
