Well if they are unable to get a trade thru that gives the Ducks anything positive, it'll be a while before he's traded, so then if he doesn't show up to play in the mean time then he gets suspended by the team and isn't paid ?
Maybe it'll be a 3 team deal where 1 team retains like 1mil for a draft pick, then Anaheim retains 1.5mil and suddenly its a very affordable contract.

I'm skeptical that this is true. It's possible, but it goes against everything he said last offseason. Like someone said, last year was brutal so it's possible, but I question the validity of "I'm never playing another game for them". My guess is he's open to a change, but it's not as black and white as Seravalli is making it out to be.

No. I think his value has definitely taken a hit. Although I believe if a good team gets him they will be very happy.

depends who you ask. Most Duck fans are content with keeping him. He was very solid last year. He's not a top 5 goalie anymore, but I don't think his contract is near as bad as people make it out to be.
