John Brancy, National Anthem GOAT.

I like Brancy and I hope they keep him going forward. He is the good luck charm for the Rangers home games. I do have a serious question, how do these singers get picked for this type of game? Does Dolan pick them, or does the team vote? I do noticed a lot of the times their is a different singer for different games throughout the season.

I was at the first game he did at MSG this year with my dad and we both turned to each other and said we need him for the playoffs. The next morning there was a clip of Trouba mic'ed up for the game and even he commented on how great Brancy was. There's no doubt that he gets the Garden going heading into puck drop. I'm glad the Rangers org noticed and has seemingly brought him into the fold.

Whenever I hear this guy sing I think of the "IT'S SARUMAN!!!!!" scene on the Pass of Caradhras.

But seriously he's tremendous. I really hope he's the main guy moving forward.

Yes, Kim Corneliuson, the guy in Chicago is great too.

Brancy is freaking awesome. I really hope he is the guy going forward, at the very least for the playoffs. They can rotate a bit in the regular season who cares. The playoffs get Brancy exclusive.

I loved everything about Amirante, but this guy is on another plane voice wise.

Whitney Houston is the Gold Standard in Anthems though.

This guy is good though. Jarring going to him after hearing that mutt desecrate the anthem in Carolina. They deserved to lose just for that.

I like this Brancy guy a lot and think he should be the primary guy with the female detective and special singers getting a few spots here and there. What made Amirante great to me was that he also had the organ accompaniment which no one has since had when they sing the anthem.
 
I can't wait to not hear him over the crowd during the 1st game at home if we are fortunate to make it to the finals.

He has a great voice and he sings the national anthem to perfection, but he has not yet had to sing with 18k plus folks screaming over him.

Hope they can keep his services for the playoffs in the years to come.

Listened to it for comparison and I vehemently disagree.
