Not sure I'd describe what Hyman has with Austin and Willie as chemistry. They've been a great line but it's 99% the other 2 guys. A high effort physical type player is a nice compliment but his puck skills are seriously lacking and he should be upgraded asap. If the blues wanted to trade Edmondson I'd much rather move Hyman than Sosh

Seems like a decent player but would rather the Leafs look for a bona fide #2 RHD to play with Rielly thus moving Zaitsev to the 2nd pairing with Gardiner. Therefore trading any of those asset's for what would be a bottom pairing D is a no go for me.
Not a knock on JE. I think he is a good player and if we didn't have Zaitsev I would be much more interested.

Yeah there were plenty of people and threads wanting Colt, and as far as I can remember this is the only thread I have seen about Edmundson. It has to be Parayko.

Agreed. Nylander for Edmundson is ridiculous. TOR would have to include Marner too.

You can literally have Hyman just to get him away from Matthews and Nylander. I don't even care what you give me.
If Babs would play him on the 4th line where he should be this wouldn't be an issue.
Do you watch hockey games? What chemistry do Hyman have with them? He's great on the PK, he's great hitting people and sometimes retrieving a few pucks. Anytime a puck has to go from his stick to Matthews, or Nylander's or vice versa it almost never happens. When it does it's them passing to Hyman and Hyman puts a little weak shot on net or misses completely. Hyman completely lacks any offensive skills.
So much chemistry he has 1 point while the other 2 have 10 and 11. Thank god we have a PP that Nylander can get points on because Hyman is a total black hole.

The only non Parayko thread I can recall is a Dunn for Kap thread where both teams said no I think. But Nylander never came up.

I would take Edmundson over Carrick in a heartbeat. Carrick does not look like a NHL calibre Dman to me

We should be acquiring the best talent available, there is no guarantee that Gardiner or Marincin will be with this team for a long time, they could also be trade bait to get their much desired RHD, its not limited.
