This season just seems like we need to acquire a Tank.......
Good luck to Eddy and his dad's health.

I read his dad's death at first. Was like. Damn. This guy doesn't joke around ._.

Sad news.

That said, this season will be a long one. So much drama. They're beating CF/Montreal/Impact in terms of drama these days. It's pretty close to a Lance et Compte season.

This will be tough on Joel. My dad passed away from the same thing less than two years ago. It's very difficult on both the patient and family.

Family definitely comes before anything else. Wishing him the best.
I hope you're doing well man, My dad passed in august 2019 from lymphoma, as a family member it was quite possibly the single worst experience I've ever lived through. It made me a stronger person and a better partner but it still haunts me at times knowing what he went through at the end. For those of you who have never experienced I can tell you it can really mess you up mentally for a while, took me 6 months to feel somewhat back to normal.

To many people succumbing to cancer these days. Hope his dad somehow comes through. Lost my dad in 2019 to stomach cancer. Definitely the worst thing I have ever been through. Still hard to believe he’s gone. Wouldn’t wish cancer on my worst enemy…not that I really have one, but still, one of the top things I hope someone can figure out how to cure.

My dad died of lung cancer. Took a year off to take care of him with my mother and I'm glad I did. It was very intense so I can totally understand his situation.

Went to see his doctor because he felt pain in his shoulder and he received his death sentence at the same time. It's been 5 years and it still feels unreal.

The year he retired as well. Life is so unfair.

heard that at l'antichambre last night that his dad was sick.

best to him and his family

We know that since few weeks already. Very sad.

Must be hard too for him, Weber, Price and Byron to see the ship sinks. But that's life.

The morale in the room must be at its lowest now.

Man. Back to week to week.

Might as well just go home to be with family while he recovers. If he's suffered another setback he should probably stay off the ice for a while.

Was this an offseason injury?
I thought they said it was something he battled last year too and they we're trying to get ahead of it
