Dirty play, any stomp with a skate is career threatening, see Cooke vs. Karlsson, I'd toss him from the tournament personally.
He should be banned from all hockey for a lenghty period, IMO. At least for the year. That's disgusting, deliberate and career threatening.

Surpringly. I'm a big Veleno fan. He was battling with Zadina for Q scoring leader a few years ago and then I thought he was a 2nd round steal for Detroit (or late first round, can't remember).
Always been cheering for him and was thrilled the world was hearing about him here as he's been awesome! Really happy for him.
Having said that... kick his out of the tournamnet.lol NO way that should be happening.

Yeah, I know IIHF can't suspend players from domestic hockey. In this case, I wish they could.
