Joe Sakic - best modern day comparable?

I know nostalgia dials up the beer goggles, but spicy take:

the reason there’s no comparable is there’s not a current NHL player as good as Sakic or Forsberg were. Somewhat unfair to younger stars with their achievements still ahead. But only Crosby can make a career case, though it’s a good one.

Nick Suzuki if Suzuki reach his ceiling?

Obviously Sakic is way better, but Suzuki has a sneaky great shot that for now he doesnt exploit as often as he should.. he's having a bad year no doubt

I dont know.

i would say Aho is the closest

Pettersson has some similarities also just taller and skinnier

Nah, doesn't have a ceiling of being a 90-100+ points player IMO.

Good little two-way center with Selke potential if his offensive game take off, but the hype surrounding him needs to be tempered.
