Woody Johnson is a shit owner. Sorry for being captain obvious

Rex Ryan/Mark Sanchez Jets era looks like golden age at this point in hindsight

Been downhill for franchise ever since that brief run of success

LOL, at Rodgers

For real. Unfortunately for Jets fans all anyone remembers from that era is the Buttfumble and the Giants winning a second Super Bowl in 4 years.

This Jets stuff always seems to happen on Tuesdays when the REAL GM has his date with McAfee.
The new GM will be Pat McAfee. They'll then use their first four picks on WRs. Rodgers will skip as much off-season and training camp as he can and will then blame the team for not getting him guys he can work with.

Nah, Rodgers is going to retire. I hear the FDA might be hiring people of his mindset in the next little bit.

Lol @ the people who think Rodgers got him fired when all he's preached about is stability. This isn't a Rodgers decision, this was a Woody Johnson being a spiteful turd decision before he leaves working for Trump and being angry how bad this season is gone instead of letting Douglas's contract run out. The scorched Earth rebuild will probably happen now with a garbage/lame duck GM + HC.

So is Rodgers sticking around now? All these moves make it seem like he is...not like he been great this season

The guy who wanted the head coach fired is all about stability?

I despise Rodgers as a Jets fan so I'm not even trying to defend him but go look at everything that's being said in the media. He didn't want Saleh/Douglas out last year after he went down 4 plays in when you could've made the case Saleh could've been canned after last year and ditto for Douglas for not going after a QB via trade when Rodgers went down in 2023. He's the reason why both were back in 2024. f*** him regardless, hope he's off the roster in 2025 lol

With or without ARod, what were the Jets going to be in 2023 and 2024 with Z. Wilson in year 3 and 4 in the NFL? Less dead cap moving forward as they wouldn't have spent $75 mill on ARod in cash taking only $26 mill in cap charges or gotten his buddy Adams and eating the remaining $9 mill plus of remaining cap charges.
Add back their draft capital, still won't make up for their weakness at QB.
Nix at QB without Payton coaching him probably isn't going to save the Jets.

Damn if you do and damned if you don't situation for them.
