I wont join the negitivity.
This reminds of 2011 talk of Claude being gone if they lose game 7. Well, we know what happened then.

If the Bruins lose tonight we can talk until the cows come home about possible replacements for Montgomery.

When the Bruins win tonight, it's on to Florida baby, and anything can happen! It ain't over until it's over. Go Bruins!

Sweeney is the GM he knew the day was coming that he needed too replace those players, my opinion he never should have taken Krecji back and replaced that #1 #2 last year..........I like the some of the of his pickups this year, Boqvist, Peeke, Geekie and some of the young players like Beecher give you some promise, Lorei who I have been saying really not sure about him in the playoffs, has played well these are all good signs for this team, but they need more to be successful. Sweeney got himself in this bad cap situation, but the criticism of Pasta although justified , he could use another pure goal scorer on this team, even if they were not on the same line, stop Pasta and then what do you have. How does Hanifan and Hertl go to a team like Vegas,, or a Taresenko go to Florida even a Toffoli to Winnipeg. I there is answers to that question, what I am trying to say, why can't Sweeney be more aggressive and creative. Sorry no more Heinen, JVR, Shatty signings unless this team is built no more sticking the finger in the dike. I do like Loheri, Beecher, although he was a healthy scratch that had many of us scratching our heads, Boqvist, Freddy, Peeke now have some playoff experience. they lose tonight coach gets fired but GM should be walking out the door with him, I am sick of this bullshit.
Sweeney is no different than other GM’s. Eventually you must pay the piper. The Jacobs are the ones that don’t want to do a rebuild.

They lose this game Mongomery should be fired before the night is over. 0-7 in deciding games is criminal

This could be his last period with the Bruins. Even though they have shown up tonight it's on him for those game 5 & 6 no shows.

Who came up with that set play on the game winner? Monty? The players create them too.

Maybe I’m making stuff up but I believe we’ve seen that play a few times with pasta this year

I hope Montgomery has a game plan for how to neutralize Tkachuk, Reinhart, Barkov, and to a lesser extent Verhaeghe.

Personally, I would probably try and "Steve Kasper" them to death and take my chances with the rest of their team. Shadow them, man to man, every time they are on the ice. Give them no room, no time, live in their space, and try to frustrate them into taking bad penalties.

I would attempt to use Frederic, DeBrusk, Coyle, Zacha and even possibly Beecher, Geekie and maybe Heinen just ensure coverage whenever one or more of those 4 are on the ice. At least from center ice back into our defensive zone.

Playoffs are about match ups and adjustments. Make Florida's big guns struggle to find space ... nothing should come easy for them.

I don't think Montgomery was losing his job if we lost no matter how many people were trying to speak it into reality. We'll see what happens against Florida though.

I'm not so sure, granted they weren't supposed to be competing this year, but to go up twice 3-1 as the favourite and to blow it on home ice two straight years, it would be tough to sell to the fanbase that he's the right guy moving forward.

But that's an alternate reality, he won game 7 and that's all that matters, he's safe for now

7th best team in the league when alternating goalies. Going with one goalie didn’t work last year, and it’s not working again this year. He’s going to lose his job over it.

A month from now, do you want to be referred to as the 7th best team in the league or the best?
