We had to lose that game. We have to lose the next game too.

It looks like the Capitals and Blues might only win one more game each; Vancouver will probably get 5 more points. So they'll finish:

Blues: 78 pts
Capitals: 79 pts
Canucks: 80 pts

We have 75 pts -- we can afford one more win and one loser point, in the final 7 games, and still get the 8th spot (Blues get 9th with the tiebreaker.)

If instead we win 3 of 7, we'll end up in the 11th spot. If Ottawa finishes pointless in their last 6, we'd be in the 12 spot -- just by winning 3 of 7. And we have games against Montreal and Buffalo.

How can a rookie come in and look so quick, have such great vision, find seams with passes, and show such great creativity like Berggren and then a month or two later not be able to complete a pass or make a play and generally look like he doesn't belong?
He was like our 2nd best forward after Larkin. Now he is Zadinaed.
