It's been a great year. Congrats to Arniel and the boys. Well earned

I was fully expecting a step back this year. This team and Arniel have been consistently good. There were a couple stretches of .500 hockey while working through some injuries. But they always got their formula and winning ways back. And very few no show games, which speaks highly of coaching. Too many career years to list. Well done. A great time to be a Jets fan.

I've always loved hearing the stories over the years of the fans who lived through the Jets' WHA/NHL 1.0 days.

I have no recollection of any Jets 1.0 memory at all, myself. That said, I'd always listen and just be mesmerized as a kid of what it'd be like to see them back in the city, witness a white-out, and obviously, one day, God willing, celebrate a Stanley Cup in Winnipeg.

I truly stewed over 17-18 and the disappointment of 18-19 because like a lot of other fans -- the thought of "is the best roster/best chance we will ever see in Winnipeg?" crossed my mind and seeing those teams come up short felt like a f***ing kick in the gut.

The reality is this: it hasn't been entirely smooth sailing, we've all endured the many ups and downs since their return, but moments like this in Winnipeg hockey history are meant to be cherished.

These type of seasons are so extremely rare in sport -- and to be able to head down to Canada Life Center, in little old Winnipeg, to watch a team that has topped the best hockey league in the world has been a true privilege.

We all want this group to exercise the demons of past seasons and enjoy a deep run. Hell, I think it's clear these players want that more than anything, of course. A lot of people "will believe it when they see it" which is totally fine, and I think a lot of us fans feel that, in varying degrees.

I just know that from growing up with no team to root for in the city -- to ultimately being able to head down next weekend and cheer with the best fans in the entire league in one of the best playoff traditions in the sport -- I will be smelling the roses along the way. We have a f***ing wicked hockey team, boys and girls, and these moments are truly special to soak in and appreciate. A President's Trophy winning team in Winnipeg sounds pretty damn good, I must say.

Go get 'em, fellas, and let's create that palpable buzz we've all been missing in this city for far too long.

It's whiteout szn.

To win, or not to win, The Presidents’ Cup
That is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of Central Division foes
And by opposing end them.
And why might we sleep on the Western Conference?
- no more;
And by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That the move from Atlanta was heir to:
'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd.
To sleep, perchance to dream of the Entire League
Aye, there's the rub:
For in that sleep what Hockey’d dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off the best the league can bring,
Must give us pause—there's the intermittent respect
That makes calamity of our opponents’ NHL lives.
