After we totally dummied SJ and the Wild and managed to lose this is fitting we won in this fashion. Hockey gods gave us one back.

Personally I think Scheifele loves playing against Maurice
Take it anyway you can get it this time of year. Probably the most physical game of the year and the Jets didn't wilt.

Lurch was clobbered at the Panthers blueline late in the game went off immediately

Lol I can't even be mad at this insane post from the 'other forum'; when even a provincial government joins in on the gaslighting campaign, an otherwise-ignorant hockey fan could be forgiven for believing the hype.
Like there are people in the gambling industry -- high up, well paid, executive level people -- who are so ignorant on what the human body is capable of that they really believe roulette dealers can 'hit' a certain section of a wheel. Crazy, I know. But similarly, some people still believe that Scheifele was supposed to not only realize the puck had gone in the net but come to a complete stop in a timeframe shorter than human reflexes allow; that's why he got four playoff games and a "first time offender" (first time this month?) like Brad Marchand got two regular season games for flagrantly spearing Corey Perry in the nuts 20 seconds after the whistle has blown. Guess which one of those two f***face Parros said wasn't a hockey play?

Schiefele with a really great effort all night.
Weird game. Some good, some bad. We were 2/3 on the PP...that's good. We gave up 3 PP goals on 5 chances...that's bad. We twice gave up a 2 goal lead...that's bad. Scheifele was great...that's good. We lost Morrissey...that's terrible. We got the 2 points...that's good.
After the 1st it looked like we would be in control of the game but then things got a little bit too adventerous. Happy for the win but it felt like we escaped with that one.

Much needed win. Morrissey's health is the big question mark. Hopefully it is relatively short term.
