Edit: After this game, I strongly believe Maurice is still pulling strings when it comes to coaching and line-up decisions.

Some of the worst coaching I have ever seen on display by Lowry tonight:
-Sanford in the top 6
-Sanford out in OT
-Ehlers demoted
-Team not at all on the same page and came out sluggish again
-Can't manage the puck to save their lives

Can we just punt this whole group of coaches please. This org wont win if it can't keep up with where this game is going.

Helle played great tonight and saved our bacon tonight.

Heinola, Pionk and JoMo all with nice games on defense.

Dubois was a horse out there, Appelton and Svech also with strong games.

Scheifele, Stastny, and Wheeler were invisible.

Our defensive d all had off nights imo.

Good thing is we got the two points and need to crush Toronto tomorrow.

I don't get the coaching staff's love affair with Sanford. Aside from his size I don't see much there. Definitely not top 6 material.

Another reluctant woohoo!! With KFC out of the lineup I have some exuberance for this win. Jets taking it to extra time to keep the hopes of extra time after the regular season alive.

If only we could've been the Overtime specialists we are right now....earlier in the season...

3 on 3 and shootouts tend to be pretty random over the long term. We are trending back towards 50-50 with a couple more. It would be nice to have more but you can’t really count on anything more than 50-50.

I must be the only one that likes Sanford's game -
Not sure I would throw him out there 3on3 but he's not a bad player
Fairly nifty in an unassuming way and is very hard on the puck - I wouldn't want to play against him.
Lowry likes him because he shows up - get the rest of them to do the same and he's back to bottom 6

Ehlers has to be the most patient person on Earth.

Yeah, all these years and not as much ice as other top players. And no PP1 time. Also I’d love to see him on PK. In the past he has expressed his willingness & experience there.

I feel for Dubois trying to get his 100 th goal. Wheeler tapped in the 1st one, Dubois should have got, and then he hits the post in overtime. Too bad for PLD, but his 100th will come.
