Very solid game. Stastny line was great. Heinola/Morrissey much less dramatic than Niku/Morrissey. Stanley was solid after the first shift, very good game by him and played a good number of minutes. PP still looked good except the last 2 even if they didn't score.

Jets played with speed, played with energy, and it resulted in a very impressive win. Too bad that Hellebuyck didn't get that shootout. Kind of a piss off.

Despite looking really good last game, Ottawa sure looked like Senators this game:

They make a lot of money and you're not sure why, they were mostly ineffective, and you've heard of a few of them but you're not 100% sure from where.

Stanley had one flub on his first shift.
otherwise, he's been...unremarkable.
now, you're not going beep into the playoffs with 6 unremarkable D-men. but 3 games in? not a lot of hiccups.

now, if you are PoMo and Chevy and you talk about Saturday's line-up, drawing in Demelo's a no-brainer. guessing you take Stanley out.
drawing in Poolman for Heinola? you're basically on an all-starch diet and you'll get Bad Morrissey again.

Depends on if they put DeMelo with JoMo or not. Morrissey played extra conservatively on his offside tonight. Was effective but hes better on the left. I would put DeMelo with Morrisey and Heinola on the bottom. Pairing with Poolman.

Tough calls though As both Stanley and Heinola played well. But we need to get Beau his gp.for expansion draft.

Great game goalie out. Ds were rock solid, forwards found their legs and played like we need to in order to punish teams. Team effort and great win. Beaulieu and Stanley getting in that pile up was nice to see. Onto the next one!
