the reality is that this franchise is in a horrible state. Overpaid players, thin prospect pool, unmovable contracts and bad development system for scorers. Try to compete this year because CBJ has the pick, but tank for the next 4-5 yrs for high end talent and build up prospect pool.

hasn't been our superstar goalie so far when we need him

His positioning on the 2g was bad, and could've stopped the 3rd

he looks frozen and beat on every shot taken against him...

are you watching the game?

What was wrong about his positioning on the 2nd? That was a perfect shot that even went of the post. And considering he has made several good save I don't know how you can come to your second opinion...

Like I said, he's looking human, but certainly not crap. Vally in Dallas was crap, but Hank tonight sure isn't.

Came close to watching the game tonight... really wanted to, despite having told myself to stay away and avoid constant disappointment. Decided I'd be better off catching up on shows and studying.

Glad I was right.

No.

Rather keep Tortorella.

People complain about Torts and want to bring in Ruff? Hysterical.

What kind of players has Ruff had? Tortorella?

The latter has Nash, Gaborik, Richards, and we get this?! His preference for Sullivan alone should make Rangers fans gag.

I am seriously marking days off my calendar praying for Tortorella to get fired and bring in a competent coach who can actually utilize our strengths to our benefit!

gaborik needs to be moved the minute he strings together a few goals, seriously i think he would be a much more enticing pickup with a year and a half left rather then just a year to go at the draft.

say what you want about him being out best goal scorer, i probably wouldnt have a clue if he wasnt playing for this team in the next game, hell i probably would know it if he was sitting right next to me right now, hes that invisible:help:

Jokinen? Ok. Kane? Ok. Two extremely talented fellows.

But when you let Anthony Peluso get 2 points: go home, you're drunk.

Organizational depth issues? It's a scary thought watching Bickel play meaningful minutes; I did not expect both McD and MDZ to be scratches. The team is good when healthy, but the injuries are exposing this team badly.

And I thought I was overreacting

Every time Callahan exits a car, Bald Eagles fly out with him. He'll score again.

Guys, it's a long season. No need to panic...

This applies when the team is getting even slightly better game by game. Right now they are getting worse, on top the injuries but most concerning the guys arent trying. They arent picking up their man on defense. They dont hustle back to break up the play, why? i dont know but the most important reason for the fall of the empire is they arent engaged in this season or passionate about it.

His Sabres powerhouse teams could not get past the 2nd round, 3rd round in '06.

He had Vanek, Briere, Drury, hell, he had ****ing Dominik Hasek in his prime.

The two coaches are pretty similar actually, Tortorella got his cup, though.
