Lol at AavcoCup fleeing Twitter for BlueSky
What a snowflake. Couldn't hack it here when people disagreed with him, apparently couldn't hack X either
Everybody is leaving X.

Having choices and posting where you feel comfortable is important. X is still somewhere between 25 and 50 times larger by active posters than the competition even after purging millions of bots. I use both.Everybody is leaving X.

Social media is dying. It seemed like forums were dying too, but I'm finding that I actually prefer it to the big socials now.I bailed years ago. And FB years before that
This place is my only source of online angst lol
Not a big X fan, but so much misinformation here. The opposite is closer to the truth.8 months ago twitter use was down 25% since 2022. I'm sure it's even more now. People are using it less often or not at all. The value of the stock dropped 71% since Musk's purchase and revenue dropped 84%.
I’m pretty sure the majority of users are now Russian bots.Everybody is leaving X.

I despise social media in general, but the Musk haters are in for a very disappointing time . X and FB have reached critical mass and will continue to be dominant. And that number is in the millions.Up 15% and 43% compared to what baseline? If it were an impressive number in the millions, Musk would've probably tweeted that. It's probably like 1500 on a base of 10k. Links in bio.
Regardless of opinion about Musk, X has become drenched in anger, bots, bad algorithms, unwanted ads and sports gambling. There's a critical mass of hockey accounts on Bsky now so it's easy to get good up-to-date hockey content without the unwanted dross.I despise social media in general, but the Musk haters are in for a very disappointing time . For a second I was going to be like, uhh. Who?He's cooled off significantly eh? Still progressing well I assume?
Is he still projecting to be a NHL player in the future with his skillset? For a second I was going to be like, uhh. Who?
But yeah. I'm assuming you're talking about Kevin. We've gotta start calling him He-man or something, just for the sake of brevity.
Scoreless in his last game but other than that he's improved from 0.83ppg last year to 1.40ppg this year. He's scored 62% of the points as he did last year in 40% of the time so hes bound to run up about 80 points by the end of the year im sure.
Same. The only player that was mentioned in the last dozen or so posts was Salomonsson. For a second I was going to be like, uhh. Who?

Well, you make a valid point in that total users doesn't mean good discussion. I have some of my best interactions in forums that have very few users. Maybe smaller is better.Regardless of opinion about Musk, X has become drenched in anger, bots, bad algorithms, unwanted ads and sports gambling. As much as any late rounder in his draft+1 season. If you can score a lot of points while playing a grindy playstyle, without leeching off better players, there is a decent chance of an NHL future. It probably means you have the puck skills, and very good work ethic, without necessarily having star level skills. Is he still projecting to be a NHL player in the future with his skillset?
If you ask sociologists, there is a very clear indication that humans work extremely well in mid-sized groups, but are not good at handling very large groups. I'd wager online discussion forums follow that tendency as well.Well, you make a valid point in that total users doesn't mean good discussion. Optimistic Jets fans would say definitely yes. In reality, I'd say he has just started to put himself in the discussion. That's saying a lot for a guy who was a 4th rounder just a few months ago.Is he still projecting to be a NHL player in the future with his skillset?
I don't know what you mean. So much misinformation on the hfboards? If so, I can't say I agree. People here are giving opinions about sports. It isn't science.Social media is dying. It seemed like forums were dying too, but I'm finding that I actually prefer it to the big socials now.

If Musk says something you know 100% it is a lie. That is all he is capable of doing.Anyone who believes a word this pompous douchebag says is out to lunch, TBQH.
I still use Twitter daily, and the bot problem has never been worse
