How did we give up 42 shots to Ottawa with 7 defensemen dressed? The score flattered us, but I never have any guilt beating up Ottawa for another 2 points.

I can't think of a forward who had a bad game, so that's progress. Pionk was player of the game for me.

Just my thoughts:
- holy heck did we weather a storm in the first. Bucky kept calm. That first goal in the 2nd really propped us up though and we built from there.
- faceoffs again are a big concern. It's really hard to start the majority of plays chasing the puck. It gradually got better but we were beat a lot.
- pionk did much better this game. Stanley too.
- Dooby still needs some time it seems. He's looking for players that are in a different position than he expected. Seems like a system transition issue.
- still didn't like booloos game, but whatever, we won.
- good for demelo and pionk to get some goals. I hope they feel better going forward this season and get some confidence after this game.
- woooh, love winning!
