Injury Report: Jets health in the playoffs

Thought Miller had a really solid game... and Stan/Schenn didnt intimidate anyone...

I'm still pumping Barron's tires at 2C

Would much rather see
Barron-Lowry-Perfetti
Nino-Names-JAD
Tanev-Gus-Apples

If Vilardi is in next game.

Connor- Scheif - Iafallo
Perfetti - Baron - Vilardi
Tanev - Lowry - Nino
Gus - Names - Apples

If no Vilardi..

Connor - Scheif - Iafallo
Perfetti - Baron - Nino
Tanev - Lowry - Apples
Gus - Names - JAD

I'd expect Arniel to go with line combinations that have worked in the past. Not experimenting in game 86. Reinventing the wheel after 1 loss. 2nd line has not been scored on this series. ES. 3rd line I think Lowry is the only one who has a goal against. I like the promotion of Barron over Tanev, gives a 2nd C for d-zone.

Tough choices. That's why Scotty gets the head coaching dollars, and the accolades when things work.

Hopefully he comes back soon, and isn’t being rushed. Last thing we need is him taking a few hits during Blues’ first period pressure, then have him injured again.
What would suggest to you that Vilardi is being rushed? He has been skating with the team in a no contact jersey for 2 weeks now, If anything it would suggest they have been slow playing his return. I expect him in tomorrow if no setbacks today.

Nothing really, but probably the same for you to suggest that setbacks could theoretically be possible.

Blues play a rough game, and Vilardi has a history of injuries. I’d have the same apprehensions for any injured player coming back against them.

to be fair his last 2 injuries haven't been from being checked, they have been from dirty plays

Fair enough. It just seems to me they have been very cautious with Vilardi so far. I’m of the opinion that Arniel will dress his best lineup possible, once a player is medically cleared and he tells the coach he is ready.

Vilardi isn't playing tomorrow, but will likely be back for Game 5, especially if they lose Game 4.

Somehow, I just knew he wouldn’t be playing this team has cooked. We have absolutely no depth in the top six names hasn’t scored a goal in 40 games. Honestly, this team just has no luck with injuries.

St Louis would run Fleury and and Coghlan out of the building
Kind of like how they skated around Stan and Luke? Miller was better than both. Fluery is faster and more skilled than both.

They are currently running Morrissey and Pionk out of the building. What's your idea? Keep the pilons in? Haha

Crazy that your eye test said that Miller had a great game but they skated around Stanley on Thursday

It's almost like you're biased or something

Maybe the second guessing comes from Ehlers missing the Utah and St. Louis game then returns versus Dallas and then in the Chicago game in a freak collision re-aggravates the previous injury. If his injury was that easily aggravated, why was he playing? Hindsight says he would have been better off resting and healing fully until game 82 or 83.

Did the importance of that Dallas game factor into getting him back into the lineup? Not saying it was the coaches, but perhaps Ehlers clearing himself as good to go. All questions we’ll likely never know the truth on.

Great to hear Vilardi is probably back Game 4 or 5
We could definitely use his scoring touch
(also good to have DeMelo back - hope he didn't infect anyone else)
