I don't know what you think 70% means but to me, 70% of Vilardi is less than 100% of several, maybe all, of the guys in the PB.

I disagree.
Nobody that has played all season is 100% right now.
Gabe at 70% is much better than any PB player we have right now but I know you will disagree and that's fine.
If everyone agreed, it wouldn't be much of a site.

The longer Ehlers goes without playing the tougher its going to be for him when he comes back. Can you imagine coming back after being off for so long and having to get to the intensity of these first 2 games.

70%, 80%, 99.9%… it comes down to one question, can Vilardi fearlessly absorb hard playoff contact with zero fear of aggravating or re-injuring.

If it’s yes, then he’ll be in the lineup. Until then, he’s best to rehab and sit it out until he can.

That's true.
We are disagreeing about what 70% means. I agree that almost every player is less than 100% right now. But by my interpretation none of those playing is less than about 90%, most would be over 95%.

I think we're assuming that Vilardi isn't 100% when he draws back in

Even if he's 90%, what's the point of playing him if we're up 3-0 or 3-1?

If any extra rest reduces the chance of a re-injury in the next round even by a little bit, it's worth it

If we lose tonight, I could see him in the line up on Sunday. We'd have to win that one to prevent the Blues from really getting momentum

Talking about Ehlers. Many say he’s wearing a support boot.

Who is on the black ace squad? There are usually quite a few as back up and for practice.

I know Lambert and Heinola are injured. Kupari is maybe ready but throwing a player who just had a concussion in might be tough.

Dylan Coghlan and Fleury are available. Mason Shaw is a fast 4th line guy who led the moose in goals.
Coghlan was the best D and overall one of the best players on the Moose with NHL experience.

We looked really gassed and injured last game. Pionk and jomo could barely skate. Schenn and Stan were slow, played physically but not effectively

Yeah. And even if it’s lower minutes at first but putting him on the first PP unit (which is where we miss him most). Same thing with the whole « when/if ehlers returns at some point during these playoffs, can he ramp up his intensity etc. ». Ehlers is one of the fastest players on both lineups. Jets could certainly use his speed (any team can use that speed in their lineup). We miss ehlers on that top PP unit too (along with Vilardi).
