At this point you have to think about sitting Desharnais or cutting his icetime. He's been losing faceoffs, losing the puck and getting pushed around easily. He's responsible for the last goal.

Honestly though, what the hell is wrong with DD? This is not normal.

This game reminds of last season. Play a good 1st period, then lose the lead in the 2nd and 3rd, yada yada yada.

Well, from watching the first five games I've learned a few things about the Habs' weaknesses:

1) They're weak in defending their own goal,2) they take too many penalties, and 3) they're inept on faceoffs.

Subban should help on 1) but I don't see how he can improve them on 3). As for 2) he is prone to unnecessary penalties. They need another big Dman (when will Tinordi arrive?). Also, Eller's defensive coverage must improve or he'll see little ice time. And when is the first line going to start scoring? Pacioretty is sorely missed.

The bright spots: Markov, Prust, Gallagher, Galchenyuk, and, finally, a goal from Bourque.

On the third Jets goal Diaz screened Price by making a weak move to his right.
