You wouldn't think Niku would be the type of player that would be sat if he was being discussed in trades. I would guess he doesn't have enough of an established track record that teams wouldn't want to get some viewings of him before making a trade.

That makes more sense I was just throwing it out there. My guess is if they were involving Sami in a larger trade it would be in the off season.

I was at the Ice Maze yesterday on a perfect winter day and was so enjoyable being outside with kids and their friends. Beats the hell out of watching hockey during the day when it’s nice out IMO.

I'm sure he was doesn't make it a smart decision imo given that lines chemistry. I would have thought a smarter use of him would be to make a functional fourth line.
