We are getting spoiled.
Ho hum another win... yawn.

The crowd wanted to get excited and rowdy last night but it was hard.
So many whistles and stoppages.
We couldn't even get the wave going.
There were 2 sections that were wave killers in the 3rd.

Also lots of random weird start up chants that fizzled.
The "We want the Cup" chant was the saddest of them all.

Hopefully the boys can seize the moment next week.
There will be a lot of pressure on them.
I expect tight checking low scoring games against the Wild.
On paper we may own them but in reality it will be a dog fight.

I never believed that Laine would somehow transform into a monster for the playoffs but then we saw what he did last month.
A switch can be flipped.

The only problem with great expectations is that if we lose it will hurt so much more.
But if we win...

I'm still trying my hardest not to feel.

Is it bad that as soon as I heard Foo's name I thought Calgary should draft Woo so we could hear the announcers try and keep track of which was which during a play?

Hall, Kopitar, Mackinnon, and McDavid all have better Hart candidacies in my opinion. That's not including the best goalie, and the best defenseman in the league. Maybe in a down year, Wheeler could snag a nomination, but there are too many standout seasons.

As great as McDavid has been this season, I don't think he should win the Hart. The voters need to ask themselves "Where would the Oilers be without him?". Maybe last place in the West, instead of 6 points better than last.

Sawyer also said Chiarot would be a #5D on most other teams

This was the most boring NHL game I’ve ever seen. And it’s all good because we won :D

And cost Helly a place in history no thanks. Think of how this place would erupt if Laine had 49 goals and we said oh well sit everyone.

While I think he should be very pleased with his accomplishments, by nationality records aren't really a thing.

I dunno.

Something something foo.
