Sorry, I can't buy the generational argument. All the guys I discussed this with (okay, so only 4 in total) were undergrads like me at the various times.

In our change rooms, the older women (<40) tend to be more modest but boy do they check you out and give disapproving looks. I've also heard (in Van, pre-Covid) more than one snide remark between olders about young people "over-grooming". For once, I think the boys are more civilized by keeping their heads down.

Well, then I really don't know. Up until high school (mid 90s), no one at my school looked. Ever.

Maybe it was just a regional thing? 🤷

Then the HF crowd is different from what I've had various boys tell me. They claim that everyone discreetly checks out the other guys for comparison purposes. Which is probably milder than in our change rooms where you get full-on staring and lots of unspoken judgement.
You have different people in the change room/locker room, theres the guys that don't shower and just leave quick, the ones who sit around with a towel around their waist and shoot the sh!t, then there are the all out there fellas, usually older guys. D and B's all our enjoying the nice fresh air of a locker room.
Duh, with our eyes closed!
So you touch and feel your way around? lol

Crazy important night, I'm not sure who I want to win as far as Nashville goes, I guess for squeaking into the playoffs we want Seattle to win and us to win. But it would be nice for Seattle to lose and us to win and maybe have the extra cushion there? Maybe finishing in the top wild card spot? I don't know. I guess all that matters right now is that we win and can take care of our shit.

I want to take my kid to a white out damn it

Not tonight; driving down with friends to Anaheim in a few hours.

Maybe see the Kings game. An old client of my wife's is trying to get us tickets. Also talk of going up to Frisco for the Tuesday game but that'll depend on our energy level, and on the team's.

Wore speedos a few times in Scottsdale, place is full of Canadian snowbirds. Way too cold and damp to think of going to the beach here.
So do you winter in Southern California, or do you make your home there?

Count me in the older crowd. It's all out there cause I don't care. Haven't a clue what the D and B is, but all the locker rooms I've been in were about as far from "nice fresh air" as you can get.

I'm probably gonna get flamed for being creepy, but I'm curious and I can't ask Mrs. Wizard because she's having a nap.
When you say younger people are over-grooming are you talking about hair removal? The kind you notice only in a change room? I understand that's pretty much a generational thing.

Neither. We live in Tuxedo and make trips south when the mood, social calendar, kids, and energy combine at the right time. Usually Scottsdale where we know several people.

We're in LA now visiting friends (he was one of my wife's first clients when we moved to Canada) where it's around 10C and damp and achy. They're taking us to the Jets game down in Anaheim and have got us a pair of tickets to Saturday's matinee downtown. They can't stand the Kings, long story.

Not a big fan of Calif at the best of times but the whole state is a mess this year.

LOL !

Yes, some women shave their legs and pits. Some of us shave a third area. It's definitely a generational thing, but sometimes also just a personal grooming choice.

Yes, you are bordering on creepy.

Enjoy the game tonight and be sure to yell True North. (At the right time.)

Can we please stop discussing other posters physical appearance? I'd say you're being polite here and the border to creepy was passed long ago.

Is it kinda' creepy if I check out a Sciuridae in the shower...

Asking for a friend...

Yeah, you knew we'd look it up.

I've heard enough about creepy in here to drive me squirrelly. But when I checked out the Ducks' GDT, most of it's about the Ninja Turtles. I guess hockey's just off the discussion menu for now. Wish my ride would show up soon.

Kinda wish Capo and Samberg had been in more regular this season.
Dressing Stanley has been a huge waste IMO
Both guys are much better options

Yeah, it's mildly ironic that Capobianco is getting in for puck moving skill while Heinola was kept off the NHL roster for opposing reasons. They felt that we had enough puck movers

Would've been a good season to let Heinola work out the warts in his game in hindsight.

They said he was healthy enough to play the other day, it's not related to his foot.

Well, that’s BS then. Ridiculous!! He’ll be the next one to ask for a trade. Statistically, he’s our best defensive defenceman. He should be playing every game. Makes as much sense as keeping Wheeler on the first power play.
