How would a team like that look like? Im giving it a shoot:

Kyle Connor - Pierre Luc Dubios - Nikolaj Ehlers
Andrew Ladd - Mark Scheifele - Blake Wheeler
Evander Kane - Bryan Little - Patrik Laine
Andrew Copp - Mathieu Perreault - Michael Frolik

Josh Morrissey - Jacob Trouba
Tobias Enström - Dustin Byfuglien
Dimitri Kulikov - Neal Pionk

Connor Hellebuyck
Ondrej Pavelec

Everyone in their prime....it would be heavy stanley cup favorites for sure.

I line your lineup but would make the following changes:

Take out Pionk and replace him with DeMelo. With Trouba, Morrissey and Buff, the Jets don't need another offensive d-man, instead I'd take solid reliable guy for the 3rd pairing.

Take out Kulikov and replace him with one of Chiarot, Schmidt or Dillon. I prefer size and physicality of Chiarot/Dillon or the puck skills of Schmidt on the 3rd pair over Kuli.

Feel like Lowry deserves a nod over Copp or Frolik. Would provide some much needed physicality and if it is the Lowry of this season provide similar point totals as Copp/Frolik. Would also be better suited to the Center role on the 4th line.

Also there has to be a way to get Jets legend Lee Stempniak into this lineup. An all time Jets lineup without him doesn't seem complete. :D

Mathieu Perreault is not really a center so 1 of the forth liners need to be replaced with Lowry.
Third pair does not feel sexy either, need more Clitsome :P
Dillon replace Kulikov and hmmm Demelo as former said, seems like a good third pair..
Schimdty for 7 D for the good vibes

Connor - Scheifele - Wheeler
Ehlers - Stastny - Laine
Kane - PLD - Ladd
Copp - Lowry - Tanev

Morrissey - Trouba
Enstrom - Byfuglien
Dillon - Pionk

Broissoit

Feels bad leaving out Little but the top 6 was all dynamite when playing together in 2018, CLT was one of the best lines in the NHL when together, and I love the idea of the grit and scoring from that fantasy third line.

Here as always to Rep the Stemp.

Step away, Matt Hendricks. Here's our gutsy motivator ready to ride the pine and cheer the lads on to Cup glory...

I'd replace Frolik with prime Yoel Armia for the combo of PK and reliable puckhounding in all zones. And probs have Lowry in to spell Copp on the 4th also -- maybe with Tasmanian Tanev as a PB dynamo.

Matty P never played C for us so I would have a hard time giving him that spot.
Lowry likely deserves that last spot.

Kulikov doesn’t deserve the top 6 D spot.
I think Brossoit was the perfect back up to Helle that one season so Ondrej can stay at home.

Pionk? Just no.

Some observations as to consistency of player selection:

Most (so far) have Ehlers, PLD, Shuffles, Trouba, Buff, Kane, Laine, Lowry, Enstrom, JoMo.

- That is a very sick core. :)

- For game changing D-men, Buff>>>Trouba - his outlet passes were ridiculously good, as it was a rare forward who would willingly closely forecheck his ass. Add this to the fear factor of Buff (Kadri virtually turtled every time he played against him) from opposition forwards, and you have a psychological edge.

- As this year has shown, chemistry is important so despite Kane's abilities I may sub him with a winger with perhaps slightly less talent but equipped with a higher EQ.

- Coaches? Coaches are important too. My coach of choice would have to be Bones as opposed to any of the others.

Nothing terribly earth shattering but there it is.

I’d have Perfetti before Kane or Laine. I think his prime will be longer and better.

Plus Laine would be all butthurt over not being on the top line in all these options, playing subpar, and possible impacting overall play. I would not include Laine in my version of the team.

I'd do @FlappyGiraffe 's lineup but with Little replacing Laine.

Really don't get why Enstrom gets so much love, his best season was in Atlanta and he never did live up to the billing here!

He was good not great!

He was a center in his prime and a top 5 face-off man in the league.

I thought how the play was during the years in Jets, and did Perra play center?
Not for the Jets no, his back was too messed up to take faceoffs anymore. I read it as their prime overall rather than their prime with the Jets but then I guess that would put Olli Jokinen into the lineup.

Anyone else

Notes on the forwards:
-LLW have to stay together and would be dominant second line
-I'd never have Kane on my "dream team" for obvious reasons and Perfetti is the anti-Kane in every way
-Laine gets to be on Scheif's line in perpetuity. Maybe he will finally be fulfilled
-Love the character and smarts on the 4th
