Patience that's what the Jets did with Snerg, eased him into the season, gave him game off here and there and now he can't be taken off the ice. He has learned from his mistakes and plays a real confident game.

Yup and now they need tomdo the same with Ville next year.

Wasn't sure what to expect this game, but it looks like Dubois, Scheif and Wheeler have decided to play hard. If we continue to play this way, we will go far. But they have to play this way every night or they will lose.

Absolutely inspired game by Dubois, Lowry and Barron tonight!

The Vegas Pissant Knights looked terrible. Every shot the Jets took felt like it had a chance to get passed Croissant. Bring in the sieve Quick for next game. I want to run through all four Pissant goalies for each of our wins.

I had written off Wheeler many a time this year and he always comes back to make me eat my words, real nice game tonight

Wheeler can still play, but it takes a lot out of him. Watching him tonight it's obvious he has been holding back in games this season, which really pisses me off. Scheif and Dubois have been guilty of this too.

I hope they understand that doing so almost cost this team the playoffs this year. That can't happen again.

I know it's only one game, in the 1st round, and Vegas went on to win 4 straight last time we won Game 1 against them... But tonight was just such a solid all-around game from the whole team. Hard to not be excited after that.

This win affords the Jets time to make sure that Ehlers is as close to 100% as he can be, if that game is game number 3 then so be it.

So I have a theory

This current lineup is very very effective playing bones hockey. All 4 lines are big and direct. All 4 lines had a back checker hard on the park all night.

The only goal we gave up was Wheeler screwing up his assignment.

Vegas had a few chances but for the most part they were in tight which I have to say seems almost impossible to score on Helly unless its the 2nd or 3rd attempt in tight.

Be interesting to see what they do when we have Ehlers and Perfetti back. Where would you slot Perfetti?
