This was quite possibly the NJD's most important victory of the season. This WPG team will get feasted on by the Rags tomorrow, especially with their bush league netminder David Rittich. I can't see how it's not 5-1 Rags. The NJD just need to keep this heater going, as the Rags just can't be stopped and refuse to lose. BUF, FLA, NYb, DET, Craps and even the Senzzzzz are all on runs right now and very capable of passing the NJD if we make one false move and slip.

Boqvist , Mercer , Z have all been playing very well IMO.
McLeod has been “better” , nothing amazing but has not looked too bad.
My whipping boy right now is Wood and Bratt.
There is no hope for Wood ,but Bratt has shown he can dominate out there. I just want to see that happen more.
Bratt had the best play of the game but had to hit the post. Recognizing it was offside and waiting for the guy to change then ripped the puck from the D to get a breakaway. It was so f***ing cool

That’s whats crazy. One of our best players has an off night yet we pull out a win.
No way that happens in years past. Now imagine adding Meier. Between Jack , Nico , Bratt , Hamilton , Meier , Mercer ….. one of them will be going if others are not felling it that game. Oh ,and we are adding this kid named Luke that I heard is a decent skater and can play hockey decently too.

I'm pretty sure at least 2 of those 4 regulation losses the Hurricanes have had since then were to us and the Rangers.

I can't really tell how many points into a playoff spot we're in right now, because everybody down at the bubble has played an uneven number of games so far.
We're 16 points ahead of the team in wild card 2, but we have 3 games in hand on them so that's potentially even more points than that. We have I think 19 more points than the team with the best point percentage for the wild card 2 spot and they have 2 games in hand on us.
This could change by season's end, but the number of points needed for wild card 2 in the East is 91 points. We only need 6 more wins to get to that.
