Series Discussion: Jets (C1) vs Blues (WC2) - Western Conference First Round

Arniel confirmed them as the taxi squad. Said they'll be used during the playoffs in a variety of roles.

I think that's every available Moose player, except Lundmark, Bauer, Wagner and Zhilkin.

Interesting that they'll start with PK shadow roles.

FWIW from the Blues site regarding Thomas:

"For those that don't listen to the post-game show, Vitale had some additional context here. This is an injury that has been around for awhile and was tipped over the edge in the last game of the season. He was limping getting off the plane prior to Game 1. Post Game-2, JR says 'gingerly' walking around, Vitale alluded to the limp being significant worse."

definitely getting some conflicting info here.

So there are rumblings about Robert Thomas being hurt.

Apparently JM confirmed he's good to go for tomorrows game but other insiders have noted that he's "walking gingerly"
I didn't see him get injured in the first two games, so I wonder what's up
He was injured at the end of the season and I saw comments that he was having trouble walking in the dressing room.
I'm sure he'll play through some pain but that is the last thing the Blues need if they are going to turn the tables on us.

Tiktok has been great to watch all the Winnipeg Jets white Out stuff that fans are putting out there and there's a lot of really great stuff. But I found myself incredibly homesick this afternoon. I miss Winnipeg so much. I miss my home. It's been 18 months, and that's already too long.
If it makes you feel a little better, it’s that really ugly time of year in Winnipeg when the grass is yellow, there’s zero vegetation on the trees, and everything is covered in sand, silt, and litter.

But yeah. There’s an aura in the city right now that’s hard to ignore. And being away for such an extended period of time makes me appreciate how much I love this city. I consider myself fortunate that it’s only a 6(ish) hour drive away for me.

Ironically, my daughter came home from university in Halifax today for the summer... she was lementing how brownish-grey everything is here lol

She did say that she loves the beauty of the sky here though

When I lived in Calgary, I felt the city was that colour for 11 months of the year with some snow in the middle and greenish for 1 month lol

You get kinda used to it and Never really noticed it until I moved to bc and went back to Alberta here and there. And now in my brain it is eternally yellow coloured
