This team hasn’t looked disjointed or had defensive breakdowns in the last two games, so they may be over the hump now!

But it’s going to be hard to keep winning with the brain dead plays like the slap shot around the rink in the defensive zone. If they can clean those up, they can become good again!

Good win.

I think the team as a whole played fairly well.

JoMo looks to be back now whoch is good. Poolman was solid again.

We need an upgrade on Kuli and Psia though.

Forwards were fine
I agree about Kulikov because he's making over 4 million a season but for what Spiza is getting paid he's not awful . ;)

I'll take it. All of it. 2 points, solid game aka no sleeping on the job, Laine's manly pass :D and naturally the bazooka that... who's gonna see that without slow-mo. And Scheifele ending it. It was a good game.

I'm not going to give Maurice credit because it's against my Jets-religion, but... sometimes when you do something, instead of nothing, it just might work.

And loving the momentum. We are half of a team because the losses in the blue line, but still getting those needed points. I won't complain about this game.

Dallas was on fire lately , glad we could douse that fire , great 1 extra point win . :nod:

I don't know how Dallas could be good with $20 million going to two scrubs. It is crazy how bad a player can become so quickly.

I have no problem giving Maurice credit , it would be easy with the injury to Little to just keep Scheif and Wheeler together but he didn't and now the team is showing Scheif and Wheeler don't need to be together to win .:thumbu:

It’s hard to give him credit for something that was a year overdue. But I like what he’s done with this patchwork defence.

I missed the game and will miss the Bombers game too -- when the good lady schedules your daughter's 13th birthday party on the biggest sports double header of the year, you say "okay dear" no matter what :P -- but it sounds like the team played as I had hoped at the start of the year:

* Elite offence forward talent
* Above average starting goaltending
* A, uh.. "catch-as-catch-can" D-core

I pegged them at 10-15th and 7th-8th in the conference to start the year and I think this is the first time since the year has started that I've felt confident about that prediction :)

NOW we just need to win every game until Little's back, I mean every single one, so even Maurice realizes that this is The Way It Is going forward.

Tough sledding early
Slow feet on both teams
Forwards were bobbling the puck
Nice Laine blast
Pionk with a poor decision and play
Sbisa with a poor decision
3rd line gets rewarded for a great game
Schief buries in OT
Helly boring and solid as per usual

Way to go Jets, 3 for 4 on teams I support this weekend, just need the Bombers to come through and it’s 4 for 4. That could be a first.

Gophers -W
Liverpool-W
Jets-W
Bombers-?

Yes, separation of the bromance should have occurred last season. It would be tragic if Mo reverted back to the bromance when Little returns.

Yeah, me too. It was just my Finnish sarcasm, toung in cheek (it's like our another language), but yeah, points still stand. When the team is not a team that it was, this time the blender worked. Trying something new and... yeah. This is a growing the team that has the chance to grow with better or at least try it until you dismiss the changes. :)
