Personally I would just add 81 to that threesome instead of deleting 55.
You could, even though I’d make the argument I just made I think that the team would be worse off without Schief if u just took away a player. I think the gap between 81 and 17 is less than the gap between 55 and 17 offensively.

Oh Connor is definitely up there, adding him in is a good thing. Scheifele though is the center and we have seen what happens to this team most times when he's been out of the lineup especially playoffs.
Haha I just made the same comment, bout my post. That even if you could make the argument the team would be worse off without Schief, because of lack of replacements.
That’s why even if and it’s a big if you could say 81 is better he is still less important.

Reactions: Jets 31
Scheifele is so underrated , don't care what anyone says. He, Helly and Morrissey are our most important players.
If Josh played in the Center of the Universe, he'd be locked in for the Norris already. But he doesn't, and he'll have to be that much better than anyone else to get the recognition he deserves. Such a solid, dependable, dynamic player.

jets sent down both ford and lambert, they really are trying to accrue as much space as possible
Ford is a hard working tough little guy but man he looked like a little boy out there against the Caps, his lack of size is a huge issue when we already have too many smaller players with a lot more skill!

no it doesn't, he was placed on the ir on weds which means he can't come off yet, it could mean lowry is close to returning but that would only have us at 12 healthy forwards... this is a move to gain deadline cap space
But, do we have enough forwards? I mean who is our 12th forward?

Liked the Jets game other than the 3rd period which was shit. The Jets being on a run in Feb are signs of positivity, usually by this time of the year you can see the wheels start to come off.
That there is what makes this year and this team different. Looks like they have learned different ways to win under Arniel, their system is flexible, and their player depth more versatile.

How good of the just been this year?

If they play .500 hockey for the rest of the season, they will finish with 105 points!
