February 2nd , 1st place in the NHL , beating the 2nd place team in their barn , most goals scored, best goals scored/against at +64 . What a unbelievable season so far. Time for some great Winnipeg music.....

We may never see a Winnipeg Jets team playing this good ever again and Sportsnet's coverage is a embarrassment if you ask me. Galley clearly wanted Winnipeg to lose, hopefully he lost alot of money and quickly going to a Marner interview right after the game ended was awful. Maclean couldn't even say now over to the top 2 teams in the NHL, he said the 2 top seeded teams .:laugh: If Toronto was playing like us Sportsnet would still be on right now talking about them. Ok rant over and i absolutely love the fact that Sportsnet is very unhappy.:nod: Hey Sportsnet.....

It really seems like for all we complain about not having a legit 2C Namestnikov is the straw that stirs that drink.

He looks like whatever was ailing him is better. I do wish he had a bit better finish but he's been creating a lot for that line.

Reading some posts from the Washington GDT and there were a couple that said wow this Jets team is fast . I honestly love that and when you can't keep up you take penalties and you absolutely don't want to do that with this Jets PP . :nod:

Also, if this was a playoff game, Helle gets the W.

Each team controlled parts of the game and the Caps seemed to get stronger (and/or the Jets weren't playing as smart as earlier in the game) as the game went on.

I never said Helle was bad. I was replying to another who said he was bad. I think he would want a couple goals back as would LT. These are two good teams that played to a tie with the Jets winning in 3 on 3. I am not so sure they win it in 5 on 5 OT but it was still a great game to watch and the Jets went toe to toe with them, which is all we can ask for.

I am with you. I did not see this coming at all but these Jets are proving many wrong with a second great regular season in a row. I put too much weight into losing Monaghan and Dillon but looking back perhaps adding Mono and Tofolli at the deadline was the root cause of the playoff debacle. I hope Chevy sees that a major change is not needed that screws up team chemistry.

Winnipeg wins the President's trophy there is no way Arniel shouldn't win coach of the year. It's still his first year as the Jets head coach.

Since you don’t care what anyone says I’m going to put out the argument this season the jets 3 most important players are kc, Helly and mo. Kc has been even more prolific offensively, turns the puck over less and in my opinion has been playing better defensively.
As a bonus, they trust kc on the pk in a way they don’t trust schief.

Personally I would just add 81 to that threesome instead of deleting 55.
