Truly don't understand the point of offside review if they're gonna make that kind of call. Let the play go and if it results in a goal, you know the other team will review it. That whistle was hogwash.

It’s been like that all season.

As a coach myself, I hate it.

You’re asking a ton of your defensemen. Either be able to skate it out past forechecking pressure or be able to make 50-70 foot passes regularly on the tape.
