The Jets board said the schedule makers marked this as an Avs win, since they played us on the back half of a B2B.

They’ve already said the next game against us will be a loss as well, because… yep, the schedule makers are putting us against them on the back end of a B2B.

I don't know but that really was a scheduled loss for the Jets: B2B on the road when the team that you face in game #2 is waiting and resting at home while you play game 1. Usually the backup goalie gets that game and it's a loss.

We (rightfully) say the same thing on our board when the Avs have their own scheduled loss which happens a few times every year. Next one is January 9th vs Minny.

I agree. I always say back to backs are unfair when you have to play a rested team. However somehow the Avs do well on back to backs. I think we are one of the best teams when it comes to winning the 2nd of the back to back games

I want to trade Rantanen because I want this team to have a chance to win while Makar is still in his prime. Because of the salary cap, I don't believe that you can win a cup if you have 3 superstars paid like superstars.

Happy New Year folks. Nice win. Feels good to have a tendy. Feels good to see Lehky scoring. Ofcourse they had to have someone get injured its the Ambulanche way.

A great game and a great win. Probably the game of the year for me and the crowd seemed to enjoy it a lot too.

Manson had a really rough 1st period, but got a lot better especially offensively after that. Makar was exceptional and the best player on the ice by far. Lehky was really good too in front of the net and he also countered the Jets breakouts really effectively.

A lot of players were kind of silent in the first period tbh and I think the team got carried a bit by certain individuals (MacK, Sammy G, Colton, Blackwood, Toews + the guys I already mentioned). The third line had some really nice individual shifts in the 2nd and the 3rd, but overall it was their weakest game in a while.

Mitts seemed to have some jump to his game which was nice to see and got rewarded in the end. Toews was not happy in the way he scored and I was laughing at his reaction.

Can't think of anyone with an absolute poor performance and that has to tell you something in a high intensity game like this.

Anyways feel-good win. Cale and Towser in their super mode. Lehky the battler always engaged and again rewarded. Mitts hopefully finally starting his comeback tour. Only downside Val's injury which was evident with Drous comback. f***ing hell with this stuff, every time... Hope it ain't too serious..!

That game management by the refs in the 3rd for Jets. So many trips the whole game which would have been called in any other game this year.

Liked the new 2nd line Druin-Colts-Rantanen. Much better effort than before with Casey.

NIce for Casey to get a goal. Maybe he can start building back up to the salary required role..

And yeah lets fight over Rantanen trades after a win where Rants had really good effort the whole game
