Okay so the Jets won and the referees were foxing awful. Does it just get left like that?

Or, do the Jets have any recourse to the league to register just how BAD the officiating was today and demand an explanation for why that shouldn't be goalie interference? Any reasonable person looking at that replay will see Helle being pushed back into his net. If someone watches that replay and waves off interference, do that get any sort of fine or discipline or dismissal? Or at least a record of incompetence. I mean, it's right there recorded on video, not some sort of judgment call.

Also, can the Jets request that DPS review the hit on the back of Connor's head? A suspension won't help us directly but putting this on the player's record might have long-term beneficial effects.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but props to Kevin Sawyer for actually noticing that.

With the team doing so well so far. I’m giving a pass to Kevin Sawyer too lol.

I have really come around on Sawyer. He's less of a fanboy now, and will sometimes call out the Jets when they are playing poorly. And he's always provided pretty good hockey commentary.

This is a character win.

I was going to say the same thing. Character win. The kind of win that builds the culture of the team.

Today was a good test against a good team.

The refs were blind today.

Are we still frauds?
Until we win a playoff series....

That's a bit disappointing, 12, 912 in the barn but they were at full throat and treated to a great game by the home side
That was a great game to be at. Tons of fun from start to finish. This team is definitely worth the price of admission the way they are playing now.

I hope they don't get fatigued by February though. All this winning can be tiring.
There is a 2 week plus break in February for the 4 nations cup, though it looks likely we will have several players playing in it.

I agree. I had already got a resale ticket in the nosebleeds for $64 to the Utah game, and that is feeing like a steal for how they’re playing.

We are also spreading the ice time out much more this year as well.
