He's always been a top rw sniper but this new defensive ethic has really taken his game to new heights
Absolutely - he is much more engaged in all zones which helps his transition game a ton.
The "one and done" stuff we've seen previously is not nearly the same problem it was - he's stripping pucks, turning things up ice and that has helped him be a much better offense and zone driver than he as ever been.
I hope he sticks to this game style - no reason he can't.

Lady Bing guy can score. I've been watching Connor since he was in college ball. He is what Laine could have been. He's got the foot speed you need to have.

It shouldn't bother me that PGTs are quieter after wins than losses, but here we are

We scored 5v5
Top line won their matchup
Special teams were OK
Pionk played well

I guess there's just not much to bitch about, so people who don't know how to do anything else steer clear

It is what it is

WTF do you want?

There is no back and forth after a game like that because no one has anything negative to say. So we come here and make positive comments and then we are done. Argue with the positive comments and there will be a lot more noise here.

I remember one time I read a post on here I didn't like. It was a dark day. Ultimately I was able to move on with my life.

And for those who bash the Connor Schiefele duo. Playing all the time with the teams #1 center will be front and center in any contract negotiations with Connor. IMO at least he is the guy we can't lose because how much of a premium is placed on actually putting the puck in the net.

The Scheif/Connor duo has changed the script this year. Both are playing a better 2 way game and not losing any offence. In fact their offence is also as good, or better than, it has ever been.

The problem was never their offence. It was the amount they gave up. Well they aren't giving up a lot this year.
