Say what you will about how Scheifele and Helle probably will drop off before their contracts end, but at least we aren't sitting on paying someone like Pettersson who fell off a cliff in the middle of his prime.
No kidding. It was probably sometime in the middle of the second period that I actually noticed Pettersson was in the line up last night. Total non-factor.

I didn't know Pettersson or Miller were playing. I thought man this Nucks team is really injured. There really bad. Without Demko standing on his head they are not a playoff team
They were actually decent last year - they had a bunch of guys having career years all at the same time. Miller, Hughes, Boeser, Hronek. Pettersson was good too - 89 points was his 2nd best season by a lot. Plus .918 out of Demko. A lot of stuff went right and they were playing with confidence.

This year everything's off the rails. And I'm here for it!

Great game by the Jets, and Connor and the 1st line came out to play. Game never in doubt. Helle deserved the shutout though.

Very small sample size, but I'm liking the "shift" in line makeup between lines 2 and 3. Previously it seemed like we were going with a "skill" second line and a "checking" 3rd, but now it's more of a blend. You've got a skill guy in Ehlers, and Lowry and Iafallo that do the board work and bring some physicality. And then you have Perfetti and Nino (Nino seems like he can work with most, like a Perreault), and for now, Kupari. We'll have to see how that line goes and then possibly if they keep line 2 together, how that line might go with Names.
What about when Appleton comes back?

Injuries making better line changes than Arniel

Remember when that poster wanted to put Connor on the 4th line and use him as a PP specialist like Phil Kessel? Same guy who wanted to use the acquisition of Nate Schmidt to "dump" JoMo

Pretty tough to take anything that someone says seriously after those shit takes
Wanna hear my shit take? I thought Petan was the 2nd coming of Martin St. Louis.......LOL

Both games I've been to this season have been super fun to watch. My dad came along with me for his first Jets game back when we played boston and beat them 8-3 or whatever. Then yesterday, I had the chance to see my second of the season and it was another blowout. Holy hell was the building loud when KFC got that hatty.

Serious question.. will we ever see these jerseys become the primaries? Every time the jets make an instagram post featuring them, 95% of the comments are calling for them to make the switch.

Fantastic win for the boys!

It is imperative they keep winning and win the Central, so they can hopefully get the 8th seed who will likely be a Pacific division team that will be easier to take on than COL/DAL.

EDIT: Also, just noted that the Jets have as many wins at the Blackhawks have points in the standings lol.
