Seems like 3.5M women living there might not see to mind it?

This is just me stirring the pot to see if we can get this bad boy up to 188 posts to match the PGT after the Leafs loss lol
Well i mean 40% of those posts were bitching about leafs fans

This focus on post counts for PGTs is silly. It's like anything else in life...people are far far far more likely to voice displeasure than they are to voice satisfaction. I've been in retail my entire life. Nobody is phoning up to tell you how great their experience was in your store. People call to complain about something. When things are going good, the PGTs are going to be generally less volotile and active. Just the way it is.

That’s why you want to get Comrie in an early rhythm of starts. IMO the team needs to keep Helly to 55 starts this season.
I don't think you'll see a 2 to 1 ratio in starts for Helle and Comrie. So far Comrie has picked up the weaker teams, or backup goalies situations. 20 starts seems possible. Might not get one until the road trip starts, as this is a big home stand for the Jets, and the points matter in the division.

I'm the opposite. If I get great service, I'll tell the person immediately how they did a great job. If I get terrible service, I leave quietly and am unlikely to ever return

I think the people who say "well, of course people only comment on negative things" are by nature, negative people. And yes, I think that negative people outnumber positive people in the world today

So, just to be clear, applying your comments to this board (which is where the discussion originated), you see yourself as mostly a positive poster and unlikely to voice your displeasure with posts/posters you don't like?

You're missing the distinction between being negative and being critical

Being critical is part of being objective. The issue i have with those posters is that they're only ever critical, which makes them negative

If you read all my posts, you'll see that I'm critical of players (and others things like advanced stats) but I also try to be positive when it's due

it's lovely that you do that. But you certainly don't think that's the norm do you? It's a well-known reality that complaints outnumber other calls by like a 10-1 ratio. People who say "well of course negative comments out number positive" are people who are aware of reality.

And on top of that, people aren't going to come into the PGT after a win and repeatedly state over and over again how happy they are. They just drop a quick "yay we won again!" and move on. In PGTs after a loss, there's always long back and forth discussion/debate about stuff which obvioously pumps the post count. That isn't going to happen after a win nearly as much when the majority are just happy with how things are going.
