That has been my argument all year as to why I think they have the easier road to the cup than OUR beloved Jets.
Trust me I am no Steve Dangle but like watching him when the leafs lose.

And I'm not dwelling on past failures either. Just saying what the "piss poor analysis" is based on. Not my analysis.

Steve was funny that time the Leafs got beat by their own Zamboni driver in goal...but his schtick gets old pretty fast.

Poke is an official shot type in the NHL's play-by-play game reports (Slap, Wrist, Snap, Backhand, Tip-in, Deflected, and Poke - I think that's all of them).

It's not even the first poke shot the Jets had in that game! Namestnikov had one in the 2nd period.

It's rare to see a poke goal and two poke shots in a single game.

Sorry, I was confused.

Connor's wasn't a poke...it was deemed a Wrist shot.

Ehlers' goal was a poke, and Namestnikov also had a poke shot in the game, but it wasn't a goal (his powerplay goal in the first was a backhand).

The Leafs will NEVER get past Florida.
If they had 3 fewer losses, they wouldn't even hold a WC spot.
They'll be lucky to make it out of the 1st round...again.

I dunno about that. Leafs have a very deep group of forwards this year. Could see them going to ECF and playing NJ or whoever the hell comes out of the Metro. East is kind of weak. Florida has played a lot of hockey.

Maybe even what you can get for selling the old boat..

I am more concerned about the Jets getting out of round 1 but the Leafs will get out of their slump. I think they at least make WCF ..Florida is not the same team as last year and Leafs top 6 is pretty good. They should beat EDM tonight.
The Jets are in tough vs Wsh . Never win there and PLD wants revenge

It's really weird how much benefit of doubt the Leafs get from you with regards to the playoffs compared to the Jets.
