This game rates a full motorboat

I'm seeing less and less posts mocking the people that said the jets were fatigue so that's probably a good sign
It's a classic "if/then" scenario...

Many of us pointed to the travel and schedule as a factor in their poor play at the time. I believe I asked at least one poster "if they begin playing well again after this stretch of the schedule is over, would you admit that maybe you're wrong and it does, indeed affect them?'

Of course it could just be a coincidence that their stretch of poor play was at the same time as that stretch of games, but I think it's unlikely

3 game win streak. 5 goal game. A goal difference of 56. Doing it without the captain. Brad Lauer in the wintess protection program. Finally a W for Bricky. Jets tied with Washington for most points in the NHL (albeit with more games played) and an 8 point gap over Dallas in the Central. Oh yeah, and what an opening goal from Kyle Connor.

We happy?

I'm Happy!!!

Last night against the Wild he got a nice goal but then he did this super weird skate over to the boards and stare at a Wild fan in what was so cringe. Then I found out it’s his thing like a death stare. The hilarious part is it’s very awkward and nobody even knows WTF he is doing. Obviously trying for the heel prosona but he doesn’t need gimmicks because his face even a mother couldn’t love is all he needs.
I thought it was pretty funny - so did that Wild fan he was death-staring at...

It was a beauty that was for sure. Probably the play of the week.
The puck never touched the back of the net lol... it went roof then straight down

Being able to elevate the backhand like that makes that move almost unstoppable. Even if the goalie doesn't bite and tracks properly, there's gonna be a little gap up over his shoulder

Everything about that goal was beautiful

Nice to see Comrie get the win, he deserves better than his record would indicate. Beauty goals by Connor and Vilardi! I give this game four "Re-Runs" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the Habnots has been posted for your guesses. What's that...

Yes indeed, it has been awhile, but we have not one but two trifectas tonight. Congratulations to @Mortimer Snerd and @TheHead for correctly picking the winning team (one point), the correct final score (two points), and the player who scored the opening goal of the game (three points). They each received an extra two points for hitting the trifecta, way to go both of you!

A big round of applause to @Section 325 for another great GDT, thank you so much! The next game is available for anyone willing to take the challenge. See you all Tuesday. Good night...

It is not and was not the travel. it is and was playing against certain teams that forecheck the Jets, clog the middle and keep the forwards to the outside. No doubt the Jets are playing well enough to win the past few games without the captain. It is still going to come down to playoff matchups at the end of the day.
