Sanskrit.
Well, I rolled Jesse Helms like a cigarette
And smoked him higher than the highest of the minarets
Jesse James couldn't even handle it
Started looking at me like I was Sanskrit

Crack appeared in the ceiling and at one point I counted 8 separate droplets all falling fast. It calmed down and I got to enjoy the third and have a sleep before it started again a few hours ago.

Landlord replied quickly at least.
Too much screaming when the Jets scored, you cracked your ceiling. It's worth it then .

I thought we looked nervous in the beginning and somehow it felt like a typical playoff game of the last 2-3 years.

However, we battled, we fought, we ran and we came back to win it. I know it's just one game, but we would have lost that game last year.

I'm very proud, Scheifele and Connor answered the call and talk about the atmosphere in the building... holy shit!

Bring on game 2, I can't wait!

While you’d want Helle to maybe stop 1 of those 3, he didn’t really have much chance on them. And he did stop Kyrou on that breakaway, which could have been a backbreaker.
I really didn't like the third goal. It was a great shot, but helle had plenty of time to get set. The first goal wasn't awesome either but it was from closer in.

Big game Binnington huh? Bro was leaky as f***. At least Helly’s goals were great shots.
I was there, birds eye for the goals. Helle was down early and goal line sitting for those goals. Timid and gave up the whole top of the net. Easy goals. Not helle.

Through the 2nd after that 3rd goal there was a TV time out I saw Comms and Helle talking and it looked like maybe he told him to get big or something bc helle depth was great from them on. On the Bway i thought he got a little lucky that Kyrou didn't raise that puck, but I'm not the all world G and he saw something I didn't and made the game saving save imo.

Helle, we trust. This team finds ways to win, they have been doing this all season. Clutch.

He absolutely face f***ed Jake Neighbors.
A fecked Neighbour on the ice is a sight to warm the heart.:laugh:

They skipped the 3rd pair a couple times. Stan, Samberg and Schenn all struggled. I'm usually quick to defend Stanley, but how are we not playing Miller..... assuming either him or 5 can play left side
Yeah they really need to go with Fleury next game. Stan/ Schenn isn't it. I hope snerg got the yips out of his system last night.

As much as we complain about Stanley, Samberg playing like that is far more impactful.

Guilty. I was ready for a total rebuild...

Thankfully I have no influence on any hockey decisions made by the Jets organization.

Did you want to get rid of Scheifele, or was it simply that you wanted to trade him rather than letting him walk? Big difference.

I wanted to trade both Scheifele and Helle in the summer of 23 but only because it appeared that both would refuse to extend here. It was always extend if possible, trade if not.

AFAIK it was the same for everyone else?

The Jets took over the game in the second half and really shut the Blues down, but I think the turning point was Hellebuyck making that breakaway save near the end of the second. That was massive.

I could've lived with more of a "Kyle Connooooooooooor" from Harnarayan Singh, but there's always next game.

Winning is a regular hoot.

On to Game 2!
He was surprised by the play. Apparently, he didn't recognize the set play from practice.
