Schenn and Stanley both looked bad out there tonight even with limited time. Stanley was doing his blind passes again and he totally took himself out of position on the Blues' last goal. I honestly don't understand Arniel's reasoning for playing both, together.Schiefele getting hurt on a dirty hit took so much of the excitement out of this well played game for me. Disappointed by the lack of retribution. That's your 1C and best player, you have to respond to that not just with your play but with the physical retribution.
Schenn has got to be pulled from next game for Miller. You simply can't play both him and Stan on the road and right now he is worse than Stan. That final goal where he lost a battle to 5'7 Nathan Walker underscored it.
Villardi looked good his first game back.
can this guy just stfu already
Have to wonder if we are gonna test out someone new or go with Gus/Toninato.
IDK - usually players do not have to be told to avoid a hit if possible. Spinning off hits is routine stuff. You know what I saw a lot? The Jets players turning their bodies at the last minute in a little 180 and the charging Blues players just ramming onto the boards. I wonder if that was just a trick of the light, or maybe it was a legit adjustment from coaching staff.
But once again. St. Louis play the roped dopes and proceed to get smothered.
They sure are. Dozens of them each game.IDK - usually players do not have to be told to avoid a hit if possible. Spinning off hits is routine stuff.
What they are probably told is to watch out for the late ones - the blues are getting away with it
I don't get reffing in this series, they let majority of the interference/late hits go but they take every thing after a scrum, just allows the blues to keep running our guys and even if they feel like they will be late they will still go for the hit knowing they won't get calledIt's been talked about before Schenn pretty well jump up leaving the ice when he hits and the ref do nothing about it
2nd goal was bad but I feel like this is 100% due to him trying to be more aggressive then he normally is and it caused him to lose his net a bit, I think it also helped him make a bunch of saves as wellThe smothering Jets of the first two games showed up. Hopefully buck the home team trend next game.
I am concerned about Helle's play a bit still. And obviously scheifele getting rocked. Hope he's ok.
I really hope we find out why Scott was so pissed off to start the secondI don't get reffing in this series, they let majority of the interference/late hits go but they take every thing after a scrum, just allows the blues to keep running our guys and even if they feel like they will be late they will still go for the hit knowing they won't get called
Pionk and Demelo were amazingI can’t believe we won after the Schiefele injury/ Helle whiff to tie it up. Impressed.

Arniel has to understand the league doesn't give 2 figs about the Jets as for Monty looks like he fell off his barstool with that mark on the side of his face.arneil pissed at montgomery and the blues leaving their feet for hits, pissed at not even looking at the hit and it's something they've talked to the league about for 5 games
