Agreed. No team is giving Iafallo $4 M a season on his next contract. Probably something in the $2 M range gets him signed if it is for 2-3 years.

I like Iafallo seems the coaches do to but he is a UFA and there comes a time when prospects need to be brought into the roster. Ehlers might not re sign, Apples and Vladdy are also UFA. Apples, Vladdy and A I will have to take team friendly deals here especially if Nik stays and with KFC being a UFA after another season

That's one of the benefits of playing for a winning team, as around the league people will notice you as someone who is contributing to it. If Copp got $5.6 million I would not be surprised if somebody around the league saw Iafallo as a good 3rd line option at about the same amount the Kings paid him.
Every guy on the Jets in their contract year is having a good to great season to date.
