We outplayed them 5v5...much better chances. They.had a weak 2nd goal and a poor defensive gaff for their third.

Fortunately, KFC not only giveth, but he taketh away.

yup sharks had the quantity but I would 100% take our chances over theirs

Yeah we looked lost a few times but all in all I think we didn't play that bad. First 10 mins were rough tho.

San Jose's PK is 10th in the league, so above the median, and we still managed to go 2 for 2 which is pretty sweet. I noticed the PP looked a bit more dynamic tonight. In montreal there wasnt a lot of moving, it was pretty static but tonight the PP looked like it did at the beginning of the year which is a great sign. I was weary about Cole on the top unit but tonight he looked fantastic.. really good game for him overall.

Two games in a row where SJS has given up a goal in a tie game in the last two mins..

Also feels good to have a game where our shots tally upwards of 30 again. San Jose is better than their record would suggest.

Such a wild run and gun style game that was a bit of a wobbly effort at times, but there were some definite highs and lows.

Our power play was a dizzying high because...wow, was it impressive tonight. Our defensive play was a real low. Hellebuyck was pretty average too but he has earned all the slack in the world as far as I am concerned.

The Sharks were no pushover so they deserve some credit here.

It's not that I'm disappointed in Stanley, because I think we all know what he brings by now, I'm just so confused of why he's still here. This was another night where he made several dreadful, lazy plays, the likes of which any other player would be heavily criticized and probably benched for.

I just don't get it.

On to Disneyland with the Mom's.

For those saying the Jets didn’t deserve the 2 points … really?
I’ll missed the first 6 mins but the 54 mins I watched … I didn’t think the Sharks dominated.
There was more scrambles in front of the Sharks net than in front of Helle. Sharks were getting away with crap in front of the net which was the only reason why the Jets could not score.
CVS dominated the game … yes the go ahead goal was scored on them but Pionk pinched and lost. Helle cheated and was expecting a pass … nice shot 3-2 Sharks.
Did the Sharks even touch the puck after they finally got another penalty?
I will be a lot happier and less worried once Samberg gets back … I won’t mention the weakest link on the Jets

I generally don't throw flowers for players on the other team but this Celebrini kid is going to be a great player. Job number 1 for the Sharks is find more pieces as soon as they can, they are a ways away from making the playoffs.

Once again, not a work of art, but a win.

Jets weak in their own end. Helle was giving up more rebounds than usual.
CSV were on fire. PNC line was good. Lowry line was good. So why did Jets have so much trouble winning this one. Oh, yeah, weak in their own end.

Seriously I have never seen a player laugh so much during a game as he does. You can tell he loves the game and is having fun … the way it should be.
They are already saying he is the best #1 pick since McDavid.

Hey, it was a win and made their mother's happy, so that's the main thing. It would have made my Mom happy as well...

Pretty exciting game to be honest, worth staying up for.

Glad they started Helly for this game. That San Jose team looked better than the one we saw in Winnipeg. Celebrini for sure is one difference, but they have some decent players down the lineup.

Jets sure like to get outshot by a decent margin, and then score first. When you have a great goalie, and opportunistic scorers, hard to argue that it isn't working.

Top line carried the team.

I'm glad Namestnikov's defensive zone turnover didn't cost his teammate an injury, but after that one didn't see a lot of Chibrikov. That's probably the opportunity to bring Ehlers back in.

Funny how it was a 2nd line shift again that led to a 3rd line goal. This one for the W. Pucks in deep. Adam Lowry is coming up big in the secondary scoring department this year. 4th GWG of the year to tie him for 2nd on the team, with KC.

Perfetti has been very good of late. Doesn't look too out of place on that PP anymore. Jets caught a break with the review, that gave the big guns a breather.

I just criticized De Melo today, nice to see him contribute tonight, he and Josh were the steadiest d-pairing.

Glad the moms got to celebrate a victory on the road trip.

Hopefully Comrie can win the next one, get off the skid.

Thought the Jets played pretty good, man thankfully we changed our PP coach from last season. The Jets PP is night and day better than last season. 23-9-1 , what a great season so far, now we dance......
