I'm a positive guy but the Jets will need to come up with a strategy to counter what some trends with speed and size are able to do to them.
It's funny, because the Jets do exactly the same thing to 90% of the league.
I think the Jets have to have the maturity to understand the game they're in. I think they want to counter so they're trying to force things which ends up feeding into the oppositions play and gives them more momentum.
Sometimes, the other team is just sharper, or has more energy. It's just a fact of a very physically demanding sport and way too many games.
As much as we love watching the Jets play every other night, that along with travel is brutal, and it's simply not possible to play the fast paced heavy game the Jets play night after night.
The best teams play the game they're in. If you're low energy, you might just have to play a really conservative game defensively. Sure, it's boring, but you can frustrate the other team and look to counter off of turnovers.
The great news for the Jets is they have the 2 things that can allow for this: the best goalie in the world, and one shot, elite scoring.
