I was outraged to hear Djimon Hounsou didn't return to this one to play the same character. The man is 60 years old and looks exactly the same as when he was 30. Use it!

I for one am very disappointed that they didn't let Oliver Reed reprise his role in the sequel. Such woke bullshit amirite?

Hellebuyck was terrific, keeping the Jets in the game for 30 minutes. Then the Jets took over. Impressive how they found their game and kept pushing while up a goal rolling 4 lines. That might be an improvement with Arniel, as Bowness' approach tended to be going into a shell and shortening the bench.

Kupari was terrific. He's using his size and speed and making smart plays with the puck.

Hellebuyck was elite. Jets were outplayed in this game. Although not a ridiculous amount. The wild had an incredible first period then seemed to slow down. I wonder why the wild are all of a sudden elite. They are noticably not their crappy usual selves.

I was very impressed with Rasmus Kupari. With his size and speed, he can really drive the play, and he's a decent playmaker. If he had great scoring hands like Connor, he'd be a super star in this league.. I think his scoring will improve as he gains confidence. He made a beautiful play tonight from behind the net, to set up Iaffalo, for the Jets first goal.

WOW -What a trade Chevy made for PLD - getting Villardi, Iaffalo, and Kupari. Just can't beat that - and I believe he got a second round draft pick to boot? LA'S GM,( Blake) is a very generous man.

Seriously who really cares how the Jets started. actually the first 2 minutes of the game the Jets had the better zone time right and outshot the Wild right?
The Jets being the top team in the league every team is going to up their game against them.
I feel sorry for the people who can only talk about the first half of the game. The Jets took over the second half and limited the Wild to just 7 shots the rest of the game. You are not going to win too many game with 7 shots in 30 mins.
Those negative people must live a sad life … cheer up the Jets might lose their next game but probably not so another sad day for the Debbie downers.:laugh:
I think they're the people who we all KNOW would be all over the Jets if they were the team that:

Scored one goal on 44 shots
Got 17 shots in a period and didn't score
Went 0/2 on the power play
Had the losing goalie with a .903 save percentage

"They're mentally weak"
"We get out goaltended AGAIN"
"Trade ________"
"I knew we shouldn't have ________"
"I knew we should have ________"

These people have all the answers but only after decisions have been made. It's so exhausting to have to listen to.

The Jets won. It wasn't a Rembrandt but I'll gladly live with a Picasso.

Winning is better than losing.

Nino, Namestnikov and Miller... some tidy TDL work by Chevy.

Still wondering why Bowness never gave Miller a shot and forced Stanley into the line-up vs. the Avs.
Maybe it wasn’t Bones decision and maybe the guy who drafted him
