Helle' ... 1st Star...

Helle" ... 2nd Star...

Helle' ... 3rd Star...

Shit first period and 10 minutes of the 2nd...

The first half of the game it could have been 6 to 1 Wild...

Helle' yah gives the Jets the win...

Not just a win... a win 4 to 1...

I felt that the Jets were going to lose 4 straight unless Helly stood on his head. Well he did and now the long trip to La will do them in but tonight was a big win they needed

I said it during the game, I think this is the best Connor Hellebuyck has ever tended goal.

He's been supernatural. Say what you want about the Jets relying on him, but a goalie is a position that must be filled on a team, and Winnipeg happens to have the best in the world. Sincere apologies to the teams that don't.

It's truly been a blessing watching him play.

Only got to watch bits and pieces...

As for the shots, etc... the Wild were 8-1 in their last 9 coming into this one. Jets were playing their 3rd in 4 nights on the road

Under those circumstances, I think it's understandable that maybe we were a half step slower to start the game

What's really cool is that we have Helle to hold us in games like that and this team has the drive and depth to hang around and then take over with the 3rd and 4th lines coming up huge

You can't possibly dominate most teams for 60 minutes in this league, let alone the 4th place team who is on a heater

They are definitely a key reason the Jets can compete night in night out.

Goalies are part of the team, as sure as anyone else. Difference is, McDavid is dragging his team to the lofty heights of .550 (aka 'the new .500') and Bucky's dragging us to first overall, now by three games. Must be the supporting cast too? :P

Fleury not a Samberg but he kept his head in it. Names and Nido great..Ehlers kept his foot a the gas and was good. Iafallo and even Kupari showed they have skills/effort that would have made the DuBois trade great on their own..Villardi of course is on a trajectory that we all hoped for. Pionk was in it too.
Now we just need to keep shifts short till Slamberg gets back.
I hope Apples doesn’t have toasted fingers.

3/5 Skeletons tonight, winning one period can get you 2 points, Helle spectacular, A I does the little things plus scored goals tonight. Rasmus could turn out to be the steal of the trade. Top line had some troubles. Tonight you saw a team that rolls 4 lines and it mattered in the third. Lets give Heinola a good 10 plus before we pile on. Third line matched the Wild over exuberant play. Chisholm is just another D man nothing special. 2-1 on the road trip 18-4 over all still the best record in the NHL. Keep rolling keep collecting points.

Holy moly, Helle was ON in this game. Wowzers. One of his best games ever, if you ask me.

The first period we hung on by a thread (if that), the second period we showed some signs of life but were still badly outplayed, and in the third period we flipped a switch and completely shut them down. An amazing turn around I suspected was possible but didn't expect.

Hellebuyck is amazing.

Ville didn't look bad and It's annoying how many people were dunking on him in the GDT.. Ffs its his first NHL game in like 2 years, against one of the most physical teams in the league.

First period he was losing lots of puck battles but in the second and third I thought he looked great around the net and I saw him win plenty of puck battles in the latter half of the game. Good passer too.
