PK was great, we just made some sloppy plays in our own end and it cost us. Helle kept us in it, Vilardi gave us the power to get through it.

I guess the Jets can win if they only play one of three periods. The first and third periods were a dog's breakfast. The islanders pressed hard in the third period. The Jets really bent, but didn't break fully, which was good. Wasn't happy with the defense. Enjoy the 8-game winning streak, boys. See you in a couple weeks, I guess.

The first 2 periods were good, the game did not need to be as adventurous as it did at the end. The Jets had plenty of chances catching Isles D pinching for offense, did not execute on any of them... I counted atleast 5 odd man breaks off the top of my head which didn't result in a single shot.
