Well, it is your birthday too!Im having a rough time at work, i couldn't fall asleep until 2 am lol
I did the birthday drinking on Saturday, too old to be doing that one a work night now hahaWell, it is your birthday too!
It was interesting hearing Lowry's comments on TNT post game. (post #522 video)Thanks for the congratulations. Appreciated. But war of attrition - uh, seriously? There was only one team out there who made it their core strategy to intentionally target and injure the other team's star players with high hits, late hits and dirty hits. And because of that, only one team suffered attrition of key players. I guess in theory it isn't the Blues fault. When they saw the refs and the league doing ~nothing about it they simply doubled down and went all in on attempting to attrit as many Jets as possible in any manner possible.
I thought he was first through - there's a photo of him and Helle on the front of the Freep sports section today.Watched the TV replay, and as someone else mentioned, it looks like Binnington skipped the handshake line.
Yup he was at the front.I thought he was first through - there's a photo of him and Helle on the front of the Freep sports section today.
Oh. OK.. Just seems strange it wasn't on the broadcast or at least not the one I watched after.I thought he was first through - there's a photo of him and Helle on the front of the Freep sports section today.
Said it all series he was invisible. Glad he acknowledged it in the interview, still wonder if he's hurt. He had a great game though so hopefully he keeps bringing it. Maybe watching Schenn out there Lowry will pick some of that game up.It was interesting hearing Lowry's comments on TNT post game. (post #522 video)
Lowry mentioned it he didn't like Schenn running at the Jets and he wanted to response but Arneil basically told him to stick to the plan. Arneil probably knew the refs would single Lowry out.
I also noticed Lowry must have been getting IV between periods with the bandaid on his arm in the post game comments.
I think there was one quick shot of it.Oh. OK.. Just seems strange it wasn't on the broadcast or at least not the one I watched after.
He did not.Watched the TV replay, and as someone else mentioned, it looks like Binnington skipped the handshake line.

The boys are today off so tomorrow we should get an update.Any word on morrisey /schifele?
Having a more mobile partner, instead of Stan, helped.....Also, as much maligned as Schenn has been since the playoffs started (some earned), I thought he had an extremely strong second half of the game. He was physical but didn't take any penalties.
Correction, apparently he was the first to shake hands and then took off.
I know SN and TSN get a lot of hate on here because the big bosses only care about bringing in money but last night coveraged was great and went right to the early hours in the AM with repeats. Lots of Jet fans in the studio but they have to do their job covering and building up the Leafs.
