My feeling exactly. Somehow, you could just sense that he had calmed down.
And if we can feel it as fans, you know darn well that the players are feeling it 10 times
more.
It was like a 80’s/90’s movie. When the switch flips for the hero after a 30sec struggle/training montage.

My dad is 98 years old and has been a diehard Jets fan since 1972.
He can’t see the TV anymore, but he can still hold his ear to the radio to listen to the games.
Tonight I was feeling very sad that he may never get a chance to hear them win the Stanley Cup.
And then THAT happened. And now, there is still hope!
I'd have been watching this one with my dad if I still could. Great memory regardless of how Dallas goes

What an experience, being at that Game. What a comeback, they actually won me my (almost) birthday game. I lost my voice screaming so much when they Tied it. Hellebuyck made some hig saves in OT, nice to see him get back to what we know he can be.

Was great seeing all the joy in the streets post game. People dancing and jumping around, great to see the city come to life like that.

Saw a lone, sad Blues fan while walking back to my car getting berated by some drunk Jets fans. I went up to him and gave him a fist bump and said good series, Blues gave us their all and almost won it. Thought why not be classy instead of an asshole. Had a good chat with him about the teams for a bit.

I hope 55 and 44 are back soon. Going to need them to have a hope vs Dallas.

I see the by clock its past midnight and I've officially turned 51, my nerves are shot, my voice is shot but i'll enjoy this one for a couple days!

Class act brother, that's what it's all about. We won, they are knocked out and that's enough, no need to rub it in. I am sure he appreciated it as well.

So...could it be this game has finally shown this group what it takes in the playoffs? I know the Blues were tired, but you defend like that all series and this one is done in 5.

Shoutout to Fleury. I can't help but wonder if this is even possible if Stan is in his place tonight.

Absolutely unreal.

that Perfetti and Lowry interview was awesome.

When Perfetti talks about what a great Leader Lowry is, you can see his smile grow bigger with each compliment.

Love it.

The Bones Lwry interview was a thing of beauty too.

Funny how in that interview Cole looks older now and he has changed from a boy to a man. Talk about a monster game 7 on the biggest stage he really was a difference maker. Very physically engaged and getting his goals from the dirty areas.

No More Perfectan right @sipowicz  .

I get choked up thinking about Pionk. 46 minutes on the ice. Adam Johnson was with him for every second of it. I just had a feeling he was going to be part of the reason we won when it went to OT. I kept my mouth shut all overtime and then I turned to my wife and said I can feel it. It is coming. Not even a second later the puck was in the back of the net.

If he played like that he'd be a regular.

He deffo deserves a spot going forward.

One thing that really helps those fringe guys is getting big minutes and being on that 5 man rotation can do that. Once you start playing allot and you can skate like Fleury you start getting into a grove. I remember on the team I coached, we would pick up injuries on D and have to roll just 4 guys and funny enough they would play way better. Some times big minutes is actually the key. Rolling 4 D the guys stop thinking and they know they are either on the ice or on the bench for a short break and right back out there. They settle in and kind of relax and get less nervous as they play more.
