man that was f-ing insane. Random thoughts...

- Said in last GDT Perfetti is a big game player. Dude is ice cold and his first goal tip was nasty af
- Ehlers had some crazy yips and had trouble settling pucks... but redeemed himself with two assists, and that last pass to Connor after the broken play was CRAZY
- Barron is a great player
- Pionk was a beast
- Liked Fleury a lot and liked that pairing way more than Stan - Schenn. His mobility helped balance the pairing
- Helle looked terrible but eventually settled right down and dare I say looked like his normal self. Maybe he's exorcised the playoff demon? Dare we dream

To ease some of the tax from these five fatigued defenceman, I would consider going 11/7 for game one, particularly if Scheifele is out, or even Morrisey. If morrissey is out, dress Stanley and Heinola.

5/5 Skeletons tonight, how can it not be when you win a series. Pionk was a one man army he was not backing down and in control all game also 3 points. He became the boss out their when Joshua went out. Fleury can into the lineup and didn't miss a beat and in combo with Schenn played really well. Cappy may be hurt might not be but he won it tonight. Helle got stronger as the game went on .897 was good enough tonight. Some wanted Koal out of here but the kid has figured it out and this team really need him. I expect Vilardi and Nik to get better and better as they play more games. Barron and A I just kept plugging away and Vladdy tries so hard nice to see him get rewarded. KFC may be soft as pudding but his 3 points we needed again tonight and finally wasn't Happy Pants signing Lowry's name great.

So disappointed I missed everything but the end of 1st OT until the end. Was called in to a work emergency.
Am about to watch the full game now at work.
